Welcome to Labeaume,
Village & River.

Labeaume is an authentic village ( “village de caractère” ) situated in the heart of the river’s gorge.
The burg has a past linked to the stone, where we can discover among others: the submersible bridge, the Défilés de Ruoms next to the Ardeche river, the troglodytic houses, the 138 dolmens listed in the village, the crossroad cross, the parish priest rock, the Virgin tower at Chapias, the village church and its imposing columns, its bell tower etc… are the multiple traces who made that Labeaume is becoming today an appreciated site.
Labeaume receives in the summer season one Classic music Festival.

Close by the region offers a range of cultural visits :
  • The exposition, till then the restitution, of the “Grotte Chauvet” at Vallon Pont D’Arc
  • Museums on the local life & “terroir”, House of the wine, silk cultures
  • The “Gorges de l’Ardeche” game reserve and its “Pont d’Arc”
  • The medieval cities and the authentic villages

And also, many sportive activities:
  • Wonderful excursions for the hike lovers, by foot as well as by horse or mountain bike
  • Canoe-kayak and swimming are one of the favourite activities thanks to the 3 rivers of the region: Ardeche, Labeaume and Chassezac
  • Aerial activities with the village airdrome
